Dean Dorfman, DPM is a leading podiatric physician and surgeon in Florida with 34 years of experience and board certification in Foot Surgery (Diplomate) with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

Dr. Dorfman’s postsecondary education began at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Albany, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He then attended medical school at William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL, earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1988. His postgraduate training included a surgical residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN, and an internship at the University of Chicago’s Billings Medical Center and Cook County Medical Center.

In 1989, Dr. Dorfman opened East Ocean Podiatry and has been serving the community here ever since. He is a fellow of both the American College of Foot Surgeons as well as the Council of Nail Disorders. He is board-certified (Diplomate) with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a member of the American Association of Stem Cell Physicians. He is affiliated with several hospitals in the region including Broward Health North, Parkcreek Surgical Center, and Boca Raton Outpatient Laser Surgical Center.

Dominick Sansone, DPM is a podiatric physician and board-certified surgeon with over 15 years of experience and specializes in heel pain, pediatric flatfoot repair, and rheumatoid reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Sansone attended the University of South Florida in Tampa where he graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, before earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2007 from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. He then completed a three-year surgical residency at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, FL which focused on the reconstruction of foot and ankle conditions. He is board-certified (Diplomate) in Foot and Ankle Surgery with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is affiliated with the North Broward Hospital District including Broward Health North in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Giving back to the community and using his expertise to help those in need is important to Dr. Sansone. He has volunteered in Yucatan, Mexico, performing much needed surgical procedures on children and adults with severe foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions. He also has organized and founded a yearly local shoe drive to provide proper footwear to the less fortunate.
