Get Burning Feet Treatment

When symptoms of burning feet are caused by neuropathy, treatment is mainly focused on preventing further nerve damage. For patients who suffer from diabetic neuropathy, or nerve damage caused by diabetes, it is important to maintain normal, steady blood sugar levels. Treatment typically includes a combination of oral medications, insulin shots, and diet management.

If symptoms are caused by another type of neuropathy, your physician will develop a specific treatment plan which prevents further damage. Depending on the underlying cause, treatment may vary.

East Ocean Podiatry offers a variety of treatment options outside of oral medications, including:

  • Oral natural supplements
  • Topical medications
  • Nerve blocks
  • Epidermal nerve fiber density testing
